A survival server that feels like a warm room.
Elysium started as four friends and one lantern. It grew into a small world of cobbled paths, player-built towns and a spawn square where people actually stop to talk instead of sprinting past.
There's no race to the end here. Claim a plot, open a shop, adopt a cat — or sit by the fountain and watch the sky change. Season resets are announced a month ahead, and your builds are archived if you want them back.

Every plugin and every rule started as a player suggestion. If something here gets in the way of a good night, it goes.
An economy people run
Shops, stalls and market day are player-owned. Staff sell nothing but name colours and hats, so the person with the prettiest base is the one who built it.
PvP by invitation
Duels are opt-in. Outside the arena, nobody can hit you, steal from you or blow up your door unless you agreed to it first. Consent is the whole mechanic.
Pronouns that stick
Set a display name and pronouns once — they follow you through chat, tab list and the shop signs. Staff handle name changes without a single awkward question.
Always on
EU-hosted hardware, 99.9% uptime, restarts scheduled at 5AM CET when nobody is online. Lag is a bug we fix, not a personality trait.
Pretty on purpose
Seasonal resource packs, custom music discs and a spawn that gets rebuilt together every few months. Cosmetics only — nothing that makes you stronger.

Names and pronouns are not a debate
Ask once, remember, move on. Staff will rename you, adjust your tag and never ask for a birth certificate.
Zero tolerance, zero warnings
Slurs, targeted harassment and "jokes" that only one person finds funny are a ban. There is no appeal window for that.
Staff who log in to play
Our moderators have bases, pets and bad ideas like everyone else. Tickets get answered in chat, not six days later in an email.
Nothing is pay-to-win
Ranks are a colour, a pet and a hat. No kits, no loot boxes, no "donate to fly". The economy stays in the hands of the people on the server.

Events start on time, run in game chat and usually end at 2AM with someone building something ridiculous. Type /events in game for your own timezone.
Build Club
Shared projects, from treehouses to cathedrals. Bring an idea, leave with four new friends and a materials list.
Market Day
Stalls restock, prices wobble, and the spawn square gets properly loud. Best-dressed stall wins a cosmetic.
Pride Night
Karaoke in the amphitheatre, fireworks over the pond, and a parade route the community builds together.
Story Circle
Campfire lore, build tours and the occasional dragon. Bring a book, a blanket and something to trade.

Install the client
Grab the Windows installer above — it bundles Java, the shader pack and one-click join. Vanilla 1.20.x works exactly the same.

Do I need the ElysiumClient?
No. Everything — spawn, shops, claims, events — works in vanilla Minecraft. The client adds shaders, a minimap and a one-click join button for people who like a prettier view.
Is it pay-to-win?
Never. Ranks are cosmetic: a name colour, a pet, a hat. There are no kits, no loot boxes and no "donate to fly" perks. The economy is run by players, for players.
Is this actually an LGBTQ+ safe space?
Yes, and it's enforced rather than advertised. Slurs and targeted harassment are an instant ban with no warning. Pronoun tags are built into chat, tab list and shops, and staff will change your display name without asking why.
Which version do I need?
The server runs the latest stable Minecraft Java version (1.20.x). Gameplay is close to vanilla with cozy quality-of-life plugins, and optional client-side mods come bundled in the ElysiumClient.
Can I protect my builds?
Yes. /claim protects your plot, chests and animals, and staff restore griefed builds from hourly backups. Just don't build inside someone else's fence without asking.
Is there a whitelist or an application?
No application — join whenever. We do have active moderators and a short /rules quiz at spawn so the community stays kind.
